We would love to have your help to make the 19th Annual Whistler Valley Trail Run a success!

Pre-Race Volunteer Opportunities:
Draw Prize Coordinator:
responsibilities include contacting local and other sponsors to donate draw prizes for the awards ceremony and items for race packages; keeping a master list of prize donors; organizing thank you notes (with the Race Director) and making sure the prizes are there day of race.

Awards Ceremony:
this volunteer position includes time leading up to the race to help organize medals, overall winner trophies and to stay in step with the draw prize coordinator. The bulk of your "work" will come on the day of the race -setting up the awards ceremony, organizing the draw prizes and helping hand out awards.
Race Day Volunteers:
We are in need of 25 bodies on race day, so if you can "be there with bells on" for Sunday, May 30th we'd love to hear from you!

Most positions will require 2 hrs of your time.
Positions available:
  1. race course set-up
  2. water station set-up and supervision
  3. first-aid attendants to be on course and one to be at the finish line
  4. course marshals (directing runners)
  5. day-of race registration
  6. finish line crew - set-up, timing, result runners
  7. Teddy Bear Trot marshals
  8. lead rider - the lead rider leads the first 10k runners through the course
  9. sweep rider/runner - follows the last runner through to the finish line
  10. course clean-up
  11. awards ceremony aides
  12. photographers to capture the action of the day
Please note: there may be a volunteer orientation meeting prior to race day. Date to be announced.
